Savour a mouthful of something sweet from Apulia
Diners are spoilt for choice when it comes to the wide variety of cuisine served up in the Apulia region. Whether fish, vegetables, meat or pasta, the region’s tasty dishes are a veritable feast of pleasure.
Apulia’s traditional desserts are also a real treat. In addition to an array of ice-cream flavours, the region also boasts countless other sweet delights. These are mostly simple, yet incredibly sweet, due to their Oriental influence. High quality almonds, which grow in abundance in the Murgia area, are also a popular ingredient, used in exotic creations such as “Purcidduzzi”, “Mustazzoli” and “Pasticciotti”.

As an accompaniment to these desserts, we recommend the famous Marsala dessert wine from the nearby city of Catania.

As the American author, Ernestine Ulmer, said, “Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first.” – we therefore wish you a tasty autumn feast in Southern Italy!
