Lively nightlife on the island of Sardinia
For everyone having to spend their summer holidays at home, we recommend a trip to Sardinia in early autumn.

As well as the fun of swimming in the Tyrrhenian Sea and all the different sports on offer, you shouldn’t miss sampling the numerous Sardinian delicacies.
As in the rest of Italy, the cuisine, which revolves around fish, is light and tasty: classic dishes such as pasta with clams, or swordfish with capers and sun-dried tomatoes will give gourmets their money’s worth.

To aid digestion, we recommend an after-dinner stroll along the beach in the evening sunshine, or even a visit to a trendy beach club:

In the Mama Beach club, renowned for its “dinner-fashion-dance” vibe, you’ll find live music with cover bands. Combine this with a view out over the sea and the Isola di Tavolara. www.mamabeach.com

The Pepero Club offers a more sophisticated atmosphere. The location – an old beach villa nestled in the countryside of Porto Cervo. Here it’s all about seeing and being seen. www.peperoclub.com

The Phi Beach restaurant, situated beneath the Forte Cappellini, exudes a tempting ambiance and atmosphere. The seawater pool, floating bridges and huge beach loungers invite guests to stay for happy hour and cocktails. www.phibeach.com

Fly from Bern to Olbia between 31.08.13 and 12.10.13 and book at www.helvetic.com or with Belpmoos Reisen. www.belpmoos-reisen.ch
