It hasn't been gloomy and grey for this long in German-speaking Switzerland for 30 years or more. Where has the spring fever disappeared to? Where has the perfect weather gone?
A journey to dream weather does not take long, though - "Signore e Signori, stiamo per atterrare a Brindisi!" After just 2 hours you alight from the aircraft and can enjoy the sunshine: in the next few days the temperature will hover between 21 and 24° C.
Brindisi is not only a location for beautiful and memorable holiday moments, but also the title of a duet from the opera "La Traviata", composed by Giuseppe Verdi: the story is poignant and sad. It concerns the fate of a courtesan, eager for life, who falls in love with a young man from an aristocratic family, but who must sacrifice her love for the "family's honour", finally to die of a broken heart .
You can enjoy this tragic love story on 4th June at the "Festa dell'Opera al Cinema" in Bari on a huge public cinema screen.
