May is full of public holidays. 1st May, Ascension Day and Pentecost are all ideal opportunities to escape from the daily grind. Helvetic Airways has put together a few ideas for you...
The Baltic Sea:
Rostock and the surrounding area is all about sports during the Feast of the Assumption holiday (9 -12 May):
Warnemünde (10.5.-12.5.) and Usedom (14.5.-16.5.) Island will be hosting a beach polo tournament.

Bristol:
Unlike in Germany, England doesn’t have any religious public holidays except Christmas and Easter. Nonetheless, it’s worth spending a long weekend with the family in the cultural city of Bristol over the Pentecost holiday (17 – 20 May).
