Golfing in the south-west of England is a popular activity. Despite the sometimes bracing sea air, it's hard to resist the allure of the lush putting green. The views out to sea views and over the wide open countryside are truly impressive. In the Bristol alone, there are more than 40 golf courses and clubs. There are over 30 more on the other side of the Bristol Channel around Cardiff. Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club is one of the finest courses in Britain. This links course is demanding and can be quite a challenge, particularly on windy days.
